Ms. Serlin focuses on ensuring that clients’ vital business interests are protected within the executive, legislative, regulatory, and municipal areas of government. She is involved in the analysis of clients’ political situations, strategy development, lobbying, working with regulators for best regulation construction, trend analysis, and making sure the Firm and its clients are in compliance at all levels of government.
Ms. Serlin is on the board of directors of the State Government Affairs Council and is vice-chair of its Communications Committee. She is a member of the class of 2012 for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Executive Leadership Institute.
Prior to joining Serlin Haley, Andrea practiced federal communications law at a national firm in Washington, D.C. where she focused on regulatory work before the FCC and FTC. She is a graduate of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and Catholic University Law School. While in law school, Ms. Serlin earned a Certificate of Communication Law Studies and was an editor of the Law Review. She is the author of “Nextwave v. FCC: Battle for the C-Block Licenses.”
Ms. Serlin is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations.
